LGU opens Business One-Stop Shop 2014

2 January  2014 - LGU-Tacurong City opened the Business One-Stop Shop or BOSS on its first working day to help business establishments process new permits and renewals faster.

From January 2-20, 7 national line agencies (NGA's) and 7 LGU offices will roll-out their services in one venue - the city gymnasium. This way, businessoperators are able to fastrack processing of their papers and requirements. BOSS also reduces processing cost since transportaion from one office to the next is no longer a concern.

The LGU offices include Office of the City Mayor (License Inspection Services Section and Economic Enterprise Management and Slaughterhouse), City Engineering Office, City Planning and Development Coordinating Office, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Office for City Health Services, City Treasury Office, and City Administrator’s Office.

NGAs participating in the BOSS are the Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine National Police, Social Security System, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry, PAG-IBIG, and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth)

In the BOSS, business renewal will only take three steps for an applicant with complete requirements:
