Cut with love on V-Day. Thirty individuals undergoing skills training on Hair Science and Beauty Culture learn and apply the basics of haircutting on February 14. The training is funded by the local government unit of Tacurong City to help out-of-school youth and unemployed adults acquire basic skills for employment and livelihood. The 15-day training started on February 7, 2014. Participants’ graduation rites will be on March 2014. Meanwhile, barangay councils have funded trainings on basic welding in Brgy. New Passi and a driving course in Brgy Griño. The City Social Welfare and Development Office facilitates these skills trainings in cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. (LGU-Tacurong City Information)
